I always wonder, what does "tickets go on sale to the public" mean to me? Do others get special treatment? How do certain folks get the front row seats? How, as a life long resident and taxpayer, do I get those seats?

9:21pm, you just have to sign up to be on the mailing list to get "pre-sale tickets" at:

http://www.wicomicociviccenter.org/contacts.aspx

(sign up for email list)

Also, fan clubs of different artists get to purchase tickets before the general public as well.

9:21pm...the answer is simple: go to the civic center's website and sign up to be on their email list. It's free. You'll get email notice to all the events prior to these press announcements, and an opportunity to purchase tickets if you wish.
