Mark Levin: Amend Constitution to Put Tax Day and Election Day Back to Back

In his new book—The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic—nationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin, who served as chief of staff in the Reagan Justice Department, argues that the Constitution should be amended to put tax day and election day back to back.

“I would move tax day to the day before election day,” Levin said in an interview on CNSNews.com’s Online With Terry Jeffrey.

“I think this is very important, because if you’ll notice, election day and tax day are about as far apart as they can get, like seven months apart,” said Levin. “So we’re voting on the promises of politicians rather than the reality of what these politicians have done.”

Levin is a light house to those that have hope and faith that we can correct our (USA) Republics current direction, as well as to those that are ignorant yet willing to learn of our history and foundation upon which it is based.
All others are dumbed down unwitting socialists on their way to utopia...or more appropriately, communism.

Good idea - except that those that vote to continue bad activities are usually:
Less
Informed
Because
Entitlements
Reduce
Activism
Leaving
Socialism
and they don't pay taxes in the first place....

Mark gives the American public too much credit. In a normal country without entitlements his idea would fly.In the US the # of takers is on par with the # of contributors.

Well, this might work well for two reasons. First being Mark's, and second is that Tax Day has been delayed the last few years because the IRS doesn't have the forms ready on time!
