I hope the mother was brought up on child negligent charges. This behavior shows a women who does not qualify to be a responsible mother.
I think just as bad, the idiot who checked her face in the mirror, waved, and walked away. Then the other one who tried the doors and again, walked away. Please people, be aware of your children. Others, be aware of other vehicles. Look as you walk. It could save a life.
