A GROWING PROBLEM

While Mississippi (34.9%) and Louisiana (33.4%) have the highest percentage of obese adults, Bloomberg’s latest data shows that Delaware and Oklahoma are getting fatter the fastest of all US states. Notably, every state has seen an increase in the level of obesity since 2000 (though D.C. and California have risen the least). Colorado has the highest number of ‘ideal weight’ citizens per obese adult (4.83) but even there it has plunged from over 7 adults in 2000. Things are not getting better anywhere.

Ther was a similar study in the early 1990's. The fattest state in 1992, would qualify as the skinniest today.

Good ol' Westernization!

Have you ever watched a movie shot during the 1920's? There was a movie about riding a fire truck thru New York city in the '20s. Look at the people on the sidewalks. There are the same as today. This obesidy crisis is just another made up problem that the dumbocrats want to fix for us.
Watch TCM on cable and see a 1950s movie filmed in another country. THEY LOOK THE SAME AS TODAY!

159-You're wrong. Go to ANY neighborhood today. You'll see, at most a couple kids outside playing. Two decades ago? Nearly every kid in the neighborhood would be out and about, playing football, bicycling, etc. Nowadays? On the computer, asking Mom for another little debbie's and a yoohoo.
