ABORTION SUPPORTERS CHANT ‘HAIL SATAN!’ WHILE PRO-LIFE ACTIVISTS SING ‘AMAZING GRACE’ OUTSIDE TEXAS CAPITOL

The abortion battle in Texas was still raging Tuesday as both abortion supporters and pro-life activists flooded the State Capitol to make their voices heard. The Texas House and Senate reconvened briefly for a special session called by Gov. Rick Perry.

One of the more bizarre tactics used by pro-abortion activists involved chanting “Hail Satan!” to harass a pro-life crowd as they sang “Amazing Grace.”

Texas blogger Adam Cahm was able to capture the “Hail Satan” chant on video. Watch it here:

Our troubled times reminds me of Stephen Kings movie/book "The Stand" where the world is left with good and evil and they battle it out.

How very sad that people would even protest the right to take a life. I'm not anti abortion - but feel it should be reserved for the most necessary of situations. How can they, in good conscience, do this?

I want the right thing to be done and that is educate people on the responsibilities of sex that leads to pregnancy. I chose not to have children because growing up in a house where I repeatedly heard I was a mistake and shouldn't have happened.

They have no conscience because they've sold their souls. Satan and his fallen angels are roaming the earth.

Dose not surprise me one bit. I'm just glad I stand with the lord.

I received this email from a dear friend who was in Austin, and yes, the report of the chanting is true:

"I was in Austin yesterday, and I have to say it was one of the most intense experiences of my life. We arrived at about 11:30 am, and at that time there were many more pro-lifers (“blue shirts”) than pro-abortion supporters (“orange shirts”). By the time the day was over and we were leaving to head home, it had reversed. We left in a sea of orange—very angry people who held offensive signs and yelled offensive things… They were angry the entire day, screaming, chanting vile things. Some even lifting their arms in the air, eyes closed, and swaying back and forth saying, “hail _atan.” (I don’t want to write it out, but I am sure you can make out the words.) Pro-lifers were mocked in the outside rotunda where our testimonies were recorded by other pro-lifers. Young men who supported abortion dressed in blue dresses and mocked our prayers. Another young man who was dressed in orange moved throughout the crowd of pro-lifers gyrating and doing very strange dances. (Please note—these testimonies that were recorded in the rotunda were not the ones being heard officially by the committee. Those were peaceful and undisturbed and went on from about 5:00 pm until midnight. From what I have been told, about 1600 people were registered to testify and 2/3 were pro-life. Many who did register were not able to testify before the committee by the time the hearings ended at midnight, including myself.)
>> There was a VERY strong police presence, thankfully. But it was a frightening experience. I worked full-time for the pro-life movement for six or so years before getting married and having kiddos, and I have been involved in this movement since I was a child. And with that being said, this was the most disturbing experience for me.
>> The saddest part was seeing small children wearing orange shirts, chanting along with their parents. They were no older than my children who are four and five. Heartbreaking.
>> There is so much that I could say, but want to just add that it did pass the committee yesterday and will not be voted on until next week. If any of you are able to go to show support, that would be great.
>> This is a spiritual battle—make no mistake. It was even more evident to me yesterday. Please pray and fast for this effort."

The young girl with the poster on the left disturbs me. She doesn't realize that her mom chose life for her. :/
