Perdue Expands Va. Soybean Exports To China

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Perdue Agribusiness is expanding exports of Virginia soybeans to China.

Dandong Port Group has agreed to buy up to 29 million bushels of soybeans from this year's crop.

Since an agreement signed in September 2011, Dandong has purchased more than 30 million bushels of soybeans.

Gov. Bob McDonnell says the recently signed agreement was reached during a trade and marketing mission to Asia in April.

McDonnell's office says the new export commitments will help Dandong meet a rapidly increasing demand for soybeans in China.

Perdue Agribusiness operates an export terminal in Chesapeake.

Better off sending our products to them, than them shipping their lead filled crap here.

Lets put arsenic, lead and plastic processing chemicals in them like the garbage they send to us. They killed my cat with the poison they put in American brand animal food. The FDA covered it up and said 16 animals were killed when a basic state by state survey was made it was more like 1600. China sucks and so does PERDUE!

The soybeans being sent are more than this country can use?

Then maybe the dumb farmers should grow other things that we can use. What a bunch of morons.
