Baltimore Police Officer Arrested On Drug Charges

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore police officer has been arrested, accused of standing watching in uniform while what she believed was a drug deal was conducted.

Federal prosecutors announced a criminal complaint against Ashley Roane on Friday. The complaint accuses her of attempted possession with intent to distribute one kilogram or more of heroin and possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's Office said Roane has been arrested.

Okaaay.. This is how it's done. There is no crime until the deal goes through and is witnessed by a cop. So, now what; shoot the cop? I really don't understand this one, unless no arrest was made,

Please enlighten us.

Obviously no arrest was made. She was hooking up an informant. She wasn't watching the transaction, she was watching his back! That was her little ace in the pocket informant. Let him blow up to arrest every one that buys from him. Wouldn't be the first time. Hood snitch classic right there.
