Schools Push To ‘Disarm The Minds’ Of Our Children

Maryland educators are launching an assault on normal childhood behavior. In Talbot County, Maryland, two boys aged 6 were recently suspended for pretending their fingers were guns while playing cops and robbers during recess. This comes just after another 6-year-old at a Montgomery County school was suspended for the same thing. These suspensions were later reversed, but why are they happening in the first place? They seem to be part of a larger effort to condition our kids to reject guns and the Second Amendment.

It’s tempting to call suspensions like these an overreaction to the December shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, but that’s not the case. A couple months before Sandy Hook, my son, who is in elementary school in Howard County was playing “war” with friends when a recess monitor warned them to stop shooting with their fingers “because guns are violent.”

“I don’t get it,” my son said to me that night at dinner. “We were just playing.”

Just as ridiculous is not suspending kids who say the f word or mf every few minutes, steal everything that isn't nailed down and won't work or at least shut up so other kids can hear the teacher.

this kind of mind control and manipulation of our children in government schools has been going on for many years. problem is it's been a slow progression so parents and even some educators havent't been paying attention.
get your children out of government schools if at all possible. you may have to change your priorities, sacrifice other "things" and downsize, but just do it. you'll be so glad you did.

Children should not be playing cops and robbers. To be a cop takes many hours of study and training. The child being pointed at with a finger weapon is innocent until proven other wise. The ACLU needs to step in and and put an end to this. It is silly to even think a child can be a cop. Were better then this and we make more money then you people.

Get a grip people how many time when you were growing up did you play cop and robbers or cowboys and Indians? People get you head out of you know what and and grow up! A child need a imagination to grow up with! Running around outdoors is a lot better that playing video games on the couch!

I shot my big sister in the ankle with my bow and arrow! We decided to "not tell Mom" so we would still get to target shoot with them! She was behind the haystack watching the arrow tips poke through the backside when she shouted out that she DARED us to try to hit her! I shot first, 25 lb recurve, up and over the apple tree, and down, down,OUUUUCH! Got her!
Kids can be dumbasses, but we all lived through the mess together!
