A college professor at Brevard Community College (BCC) in Cocoa, Fla. has been placed on leave after she allegedly required her class to sign a pledge to vote for President Barack Obama “and Democrats up and down the ticket.
Campus Reform reports   that professor Sharon Sweet at BCC allegedly told students to sign a pledge   that states: “I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket.”
The pledge came from “GottaVote.org  ,” a website paid for by the Obama campaign.

sounds like a treasonist act to force anyone to sign anything. she should do jail time for such actions. is this the best the college can hire?

UMES sends out countless emails detailing the reasons that one should vote for Obama, half the time most of the words are misspelled and lack the proper punctuation needed. Is this legal? Can a school send out emails that encourgae you to vote for a certain politician? I would think they are not supposed to weigh in on your personal political beliefs but maybe they have their own set of rules.
