The Aftermath Of Hurricane Sandy In Crisfield Part 7

Volunteers filled Town Hall yesterday being briefed by John Phoebus as to their quest for the day. While many people volunteered from Salisbury I thought I'd mention Kayla Ayres again from WBOC as well as the former Salisbury Police Chief Webster and his Bride.

John was pointing out an App on your Smart Phone that can take a picture of the location you are at, gps it immediately and hit send. The App then goes to Town Hall and they can prioritize each condition and schedule who needs what first. Very Cool!

A group showed up with hand made blankets, (50 or more) and the group is planning on making even more for those in need.

This is a great way High School kids can get service hours and SU/UMES kids can help the community

Go to Town Hall on Main Street. Come into Town and make a left at Food Lion. Make your next left onto Main Street and go one blog and turn right into the Town Hall parking lot. They can instruct you from there. Thank You!
