Obama Defends Rice in Face of GOP Opposition

President Barack Obama lashed out at senior Republican senators Wednesday over their criticism of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice in the aftermath of the deadly Sept. 11 attack in Libya, saying they should "go after me" and not her.
Setting up a possible Senate confirmation fight, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., had vowed shortly before Obama's remarks that he would take all steps necessary to block Rice's nomination if the president taps her to replace Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Sen. Lindsey Graham, who joined McCain at a Capitol Hill news conference, said he didn't trust Rice.
A feisty Obama defended his U.N. ambassador.

I will give her the benefit of the doubt, I do believe that she may be the sacraficial lamb, she was boxed in to what she had been informed and sent out scripted.

Did Petreaus give her that info to spew, or the White House? He may have had an inappropriate affair, but he always gave his all for his country, and hopefully he will do what is right and connect the dots to the questions at hand.

What did this woman expect? You lie in bed with the liars that are the Obama admin and you're going to get burned. She built this herself. No one forced her to lie and repeat the ridiculous story that she told all day long on TV. Everyone she was telling it to knew the story was bogus so she is either an incompetent ninny or a pathological liar.

McCain and Graham should have called Rice a "c" and that would have been perfectly okay with Obama. Afterall he had no problem taking a million dollar campaign donation from Bill Maher who called Sarah Palin a "c."

"If Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham, and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me," the president said

So? Obama feigned outrage on that one also.... still doesn't negate his hypocrasy of taking a million dollar donation from Maher who publically called Palin a "c." That's the point and the only point. Obama built and condones the name calling.....but only when it suits him.

Obama's contradicting himself left and right and forgetting what lies he told when. He said yesterday that Rice was just repeating the intelligence they had at the time; attack caused by video. She said this days after Sept
11th. Then at the debate Obama said he called Benghazi a terrorist attack on Sept 12th. Rice told the video story days after Sept 12th.

I'm not ready to label all democrats yet, because it would be hard to believe that all of them are so ignorant. Obama supporters and apologists yes, the lack of intelligence is so apparent. Out of one sides of their mouths their is a 'War on Women' then out of the other they fully support Obama's propping up of the new governements in both Egypt and Libya that do not recognize even the basics of women's rights such as being able to step foot outside of the confines of their homes unaccompanied by a male member of their families.

Don't forget the nickname "poopy-head". Or the agument " Iknow you are, but what am I? These are all valid and well thought out responses. And what do you want to be when YOU grow up?

Gotta go, Senator McCain and I need to attend a special session regarding... never mind we missed it, McCain was busy with his own press conference to attend the meeting to get the info that he has been screaming for! Oh well, maybe next time.
Have a great day everyone.

Who even cares what Rice said and when? She a stupid pathetic broad who rolled around in crap and now has it all over her. Instead of taking the high road she thought she would trot out in front of TV cameras to make herself look important and it backfired. Just more proof of the corruption in the Obama admin.
The big question is did the Obama admin subject Petraeus to blackmail in exchange for covering for their incompetance.
