Holiday Shopping May Come With Serious Problems For Retailers

Many people may be counting fewer blessings on Thanksgiving since they have to work during the holiday. More stores, like Wal-Mart, will be opened during the holiday this year to bring in more sales.
Yet, many employees are angry that they will have to work during the holiday. Consequently, many have started grassroots campaigns in an effort to organize employee walk-outs at retail stores across the country.

They better wake up and be thankful they have a job because if they quit it may be me that is taking their job.

When are these stores going to realize that EVERYTHING is not about MONEY!!!

It's capitolism feeding off of the poor job market. Corporations are going to make their $$ expectations regardless of tax increases they'll make cuts to make it balance out, that's good business.

If only our government had that kind of mentality for the last 20 years we wouldn't be in this mess.

When your spending is far more than revenue, you don't have to be a doctor of mathematics to know you are running in the red.

Just be thankful they have a job! Why are they complaining? All the Obamaphone folks will be sitting around enjoying their turkey dinner, compliments of me! (the working folks)

i remember when Sam Walton was still at the helm of Wal Mart.Things were not perfect of course because after all it was and still is retail, but Mr Walton did everything in his power to provide favorable working conditions. All of the current issues did not come into play until after his death. When employees know that their CEO is doing his or her level best in their behalf it makes a huge difference.

Every one of Sam Walton's five children some how became mega billionaires and guess where all that money came from, papa.

The costs of selling cheap means someone is paying and in that case it is their employees, but many have no choice, that or a cardboard box.
