We need a lot more judges like this. Do the crime, do the time. No early release, a sentence is a sentence of punishment and should be carried out to the last day or death, which ever comes first.

A stiff sentence will lend itself to an appeal. She SHOULD HAVE given him a guaranteed 25 years. Now he'll be out in 5.

Great job by all concerned. Where was SU support for the victim? She got no support from the university and lost her scholarship to boot for having to take time off from school due to the trauma of the attack. Way to go SU......you showed your true colors here!
