The owners of the Maryland Live! casino in Hanover sat on the sidelines while more than $90 million was spent to shift public opinion on the gambling-expansion ballot item that voters approved on Nov. 6.
Now, the owner the Cordish Cos. says he expects to intervene in a lawsuit seeking to overturn the approval of Question 7, which allows a casino in Prince George’s County and Las Vegas-style table games at all state casinos.
But while David Cordish said Wednesday that his Baltimore-based development company will likely participate in the lawsuit, he is unsure if it will side with the plaintiffs, a group of eight slot-machine opponents from Prince George’s County.

Why can't these people simply agree upfront? Isn't that what organized crime is all about?
ALL the Questions were badly worded and need repeal! What about 1 & 2, which gave free law degrees to existing orphan's court judges, who were never required to have them, WITHOUT EVER HAVING TO ATTEND A LAW SCHOOL!
Same with gay marriage and the others. Worded like the one where it stated that it was "Constitutionally required" WTF? People voted with the wording as if there was no choice. repeal all, and re-vote.
the ballot ?'s are always badly worded. we voted for union for our sherrif's dept because of bad wording.
There is a reason there were people standing in front of the polling areas with literature to explain the questions. They are confusing but a little study is all it takes. Remember, if you don't understand, skip it and vote on the other things. Preparation for voting is essential. I was against 4,6 and 7 but not smart people voted them in anyway.
