Sounded like a cluster on the scanner. I am surprised the mayor lets that clown stay in the position he is in as assistant chief.

pray for all the victims, pray to god, jesus and baby jesus.

Wow it looks like a cluster. Vehicles are going every which way. Prayers to all that are involved.

There is no reason for you to be such a smart ***. Many people have them. I have one....why because my son is a volunteer. Maybe the other person is a retired FF or it could be any other reason. YOU are the type that give the good FFs and Emts a bad name with your negative attitude. Grow up

Joe, we'd like to know how many accidents have happened this summer and how many of those have been fatal... It seems like every day nearly there is an accident between Talbot to Wicomico or even Worchester County.. This information should really be communicated to people across the bridge and up north. There are far too many accidents & tourists need to know, as well as locals to SLOW DOWN & be aware!

Del Conway and Cain should get answers to this incident if I am hearing his comments correctly

ENOUGH!! Who cares about who said what...the bottom line here is that there is a family tonight that has lost someone they love in a horrible accident. All you guys want to discuss is stupid crap about the fire department. How would you feel if you got on here because you lived away in a different area desperate for any kind of update whatsoever and all you saw was the ridiculous comments about the fire department?? I'm sure this was a very difficult and stressful time for the fire department. I'm not saying it's right, but there are times when you should just hold your comments to yourself. I wouldn't want to have been a first responder on such a horrific accident. It's a sad time for family and friends. I pray for all of them. As for the rest of you, show some respect and have some common decency for the family.

7:04 Pictures could be posted of the blood and gore and it still wouldn't change a thing. The biggest reason for accidents is cell phones. Something you probaly use while driving your car. Please stop so that accidents will not happen like today.

This was supposedly a pediatriac trauma arrest...if you've never had a child die in your arms...sthu...because you just have no idea...

Anonymous said...

Thinking of the family. Such a sad ending to a possibly happy vacation if they weren't local. Losing a child is the worst thing in the world. I know b/c I have had a son pass. So sad. Everyone should concentrate on the horrific accident and not on what someone said on the radio. Come on now, show some compassion!

7:34 pm Agree. Not only a child, your Mother, your Father, Sister or Brother. It's a memory you will never forget--and , in time, it doesn't get any better.

Anonymous said...

It was the dad who died not the child. The baby is on life support,

I will say this as someone who has a job that involves being around moving traffic. It is EXTREMELY frustrating to be around a bunch of idiots that are in such a hurry that they think of nobody but themselves. My job requires me to work in harms way, and too many times, my life has been in joepardy because of some idiot that can't wait for one minute while I try to permorm my job. I have a family that would like me to come home at the end of the day.....while I am not saying that I condone what someone may have said on the radio, I can certaily understand. Everyone needs to stop being in such a big friggin hurry. Now, my prayers are with the family that has lost a loved one. That is what is important right now.

Anonymous 8:34.. where are you getting information from? Your whole statement was wrong.

I have removed some comments and have also rejected quite a few coming in.

To the Firefighters wanting to pick some kind of battle here, TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GROW UP!

It is unbelievable how a select group of men can act like 5 year old girls. Not all, just a select few who are in that business for all the wrong reasons.

Anonymous said...

Bullard...you are really no better than the others with your comment.

Joe, I see you went back and deleted all the comments directed at Gladwell. Big mistake my friend. What are you afraid of? He is in bed with Jonathan Taylor and stabs you in the back all the time. Shows how weak you are and you wont be getting the support of the majority of the firefighters.

JoeAlbero said...

anonymous 9:40, first of all, I don't buy your BS for a second. Mr. Gladwell has every right to express his opinion about me anywhere he wants but one thing I can assure you of, he's man enough to use his name IF in fact he's ever done so.

Secondly, MOST of the Firefighters do NOT live in the City. IF you think for a second I'm running for Office to make friends with people like you then you'd be sadly mistaken.

I am running for Mayor to get rid of jackasses just like you. I want to WORK with Firefighters who understand the true meaning of BROTHERHOOD and NOT Firefighters who want to act like 5 year old girls on an article in which people have died.

Your self personal gain make me sick to my stomach and I firmly believe this time around voters are seeing for the first time in a very long time a candidate who will stand up to this kind of crap and support me more so than any other candidate has ever experienced.

If I've said it once I've said it a hundred times. "This is not Joe Albero's election to lose, it's the citizens election to lose". It's a $25,000.00 a year job you fool. For twenty five grand it would be easier just to get rid of people like you than it would be to keep you.

Oh, I'm at a loss here though. Another big mouth Firefighter posting under anonymous. I'd say to you the following. YOU better push hard to make sure I'm NOT elected or there may be a whole LOT of Firefighters looking for jobs, since I can't pinpoint which one you are. YOU GO, I GO, right Mr. anonymous?

GET EM JOE, LOL!!

I am just reading these comments and am beside myself with anger. Someone died ……how can any of you comment about anything else. You should all be ashamed of yourself. Every one of you. Politics does not belong in everything. This is about a loss of a life and others being injured and families and people suffering.

Anonymous said...

And this is why I hate all the baltamorons and pensyltuckyians who come down to OC. Just tack on an extra 5$ to toll for everyone crossing the bay bridge that's not from the shore to start paying for all the accidents and congestion they create.

This garbage is exactly why Joe will not be elected Mayor, he runs a childish google blog site. Not very professional! Go fire all you fire men and women. Hope the next time you hit someone from behind because your driving past Brew River taking pictures the fire dept does not come help you!
Go Back To Delaware!

God bless the family and the child. Such a tragic loss.

The real story here is that the a Mother was driving while on drugs. Her 11 yr. old daughter died, her 3 other children injured, because of her irresponsible actions. Now she is in jail, with a multitude of charges against her. That family will never be the same. And an innocent child's life was lost. Really... Let's stop and think. It's not about the fire dept, police, emts, or Joe. My prayers are with the family that has to deal with this mess. And to those who had to whitness a child die.
