Obama Up Over Romney By Seven As Negative Ads Take A Toll

President Barack Obama is up seven points over Mitt Romney among registered voters -- 52 percent to 45 percent -- in a just released CNN/ORC International poll.

The margin echoes those of other polls released in recent days, and suggests that the barrage of tough advertisement against the presumptive Republican nominee has taken a toll. As CNN notes:

Rasmussen has it 47% Romney
43% Obama.
Polls are like buttholes.
Everybody has one, some have the hemorrhoidal +9 or +16 democratic over sample to skew the propaganda,
Which in reality proves more and more Dem's are voting for Romney.

They are realizing the depth of Obama's fraud and racism , not to mention his dismal foreign policy or true 16% unemployment of able bodied Americans and nearly 115 million people on welfare assistance.

Romney needs to get some balls and fight back. If he is to stupid to see what happened to John McCain then he doesn't need to be the president.

No reliable pollster uses "among registered voters". A closer correlation is to "among likely voters".

Probably my vote really won't count, but I wlll be out there on voting day to help rid of this imposter (Obama). Sad to say our country has been "framed" and thanks to all those who voted for him four years ago put us in this mess! And yet, most of them plan to vote him back in once again......am I just not seeing the whole picture? Four more years of this guy will certainly send us all down the drain!

More liberal cow-patties.

If Owebama was smart he'd have his female clown wife start packing NOW. This is the fruits of having the economically inept in charge. Owebama and ALL his constituancy got where they are NOT BY THEMSELVES but buy SUBSIDIZED school, college, PAC money and the idiocracy of those CAUCASIANS who are on the same level he is. Remember he said it himself,"You did'nt do it", and he did'nt do it. The percentage of voters the polls refer to are the ones with the same idiology and attitude he has. Believe you me, his re-election bid IS NOT A THREAT to Romney and neither are his disciples. They CAN'T SAVE HIM this trip. HA HA

This is the typical style of the Democratic party. They know the average person is either liberal, a minority, extremely gullible or too stupid to realize the truth behind their negative ads.

If you or I said the things in the ads about someone, we'd be sued for slander.

Rasmussen & Gallup are the only ones to look at. Rasmussen has been far more accurate than any other poll over the last decade or so. Has Romney by 4. Stll tring to understand the Fox poll that has Obama by 9, but the others are clear polling malpractice.

Also, Romney has the convention and can not spend the RNC money until after it takes place. September and October Obama wont know what hit him.

Romney is wasting his time and money. Again the RNC has screwed us all....if only they would find an electable candidate...

I dont understand why anyone in the middle class would consider voting for Romney.

9:23 - I agree.

Because anyone is better than NOBAMA 923AM and 1103AM!

7 points is nothing. Most polls have a margin of error bigger than 7 points. And may I also point out that it is only August. Neither side has had their national convention yet. And a lot of people have not even decided if they will vote, much less who they will vote for. There is still a long way to go before anybody should start celebrating.

923-I don't understand why anyone would vote for Obama. Record numbers on welfare, 42 months of 8%+ unemployment....nothing Obama has done has helped the middle class.

Simple - the alternative to Romney is 4 more years of the most duplicitous, corrupt, incompetent administration that this country has ever experienced. Understand now?
