SALISBURY FIREWORKS TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on July 4, 2012 the following roadways will be closed to traffic
in preparation for the firework activities. Traffic will be restricted to only vendors
participating in the event which begin at 6:30 p.m.

• Wayne St. at Milford St.
• Wayne St. at Bateman St. just south of the Salisbury University Parking Garage
• Power St. at South Division St.

Launch Zone: Closed to all foot and vehicle traffic at 8:00 a.m.

• Avery St. at South Division St.
• N. Wayne St. at Bateman St.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m. the following roadways will be closed and restricted to local
traffic only until the conclusion of the fireworks presentation. Traffic control sign boards will be positioned at both locations.

• South Division St. at College Ave.
• South Division St. at Milford St.

Event Parking:

Parking is available at the Salisbury University parking garage located at the
corner of Bateman St. and Wayne St. Access to this garage will only be from Bateman
St. directly off Rt. 13. Traffic control sign boards will be positioned on Rt. 13.
At the conclusion of the event all vehicles exiting the parking garage will be
directed to Rt. 13 and Bateman St.

The above areas are expected to be congested with high volumes of vehicle and
pedestrian traffic. All motorists should expect delays and utilize extreme caution while
driving in the area.

What a horrible place to have a fireworks display. Who ever set this up is definently an idiot.

I feel bad for all of those who live on all of those streets off Division. They will probably have to show proof where they live just to go home. It'll be funny if the parking garage isn't filled up like Mike is hoping for.

I didn't go. I am a Salisbury employee and I went to Hebron.
