Wanted Motorcycle Operator Located In Virginia

Resume:
Laurel- Matthew A. Kondash, the operator of the motorcycle involved in the fatal motorcycle crash in Laurel yesterday morning, has been apprehended in Virginia.

Investigators from the Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit had contacted the Virginia State Police after they received information that Matthew Kondash was possibly staying in a campground along the eastern shore of Virginia. Virginia State Police located Kondash while he was kayaking in the Kiptopeke State Park in Cape Charles, VA late this morning and took him into custody. Kondash is currently being held in Virginia as a fugitive from justice pending his extradition back to Delaware.

Did they try calling him? After all, he was transported at the scene for medical reasons and released. You make him out to be some fugitive or something.

His condition must not have been as serious as first thought.I was under the impression that he was transported to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.He must have healed really quickly to be released,or the on scene eval was inaccurate.

Who goes Kayaking after killing someone??? Unbelievable, I would love to hear why he didn't contact the authorities before leaving the state and that hospital...oh darn that's right he's a criminal!! No insurance, no motor cycle license, passing on solid lines, killing a woman...he's going to get plenty of time to think about all the "Why" reasons...
