Why Liberals Cheer When Conservatives Die

Earlier today, Quin Hillyer ripped Matt Yglesias a new one after he went on Twitter to delight in the death of Andrew Breitbart.

Well, Yglesias was outdone by Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone who wrote this afternoon, "Good! F#*k him. I couldn't be happier that he's dead."

I would call on Rolling Stone to fire Taibbi but they'll probably give him a raise.

All of which raises two questions.

1. Why do liberal pundits delight in the death of conservatives?

2. Why do liberal pundits have no shame in publicly expressing these sentiments?

You can probably give the same answer to both questions. Liberal pundits hate conservatives and their hatred of all things conservative knows no bounds. I would also add that liberal pundits aren't very mature.

You did not publish this before, but it bears asking again: How did the RIGHT react to the death of Ted Kennedy? How will you react to the death of Bill Clinton? How honorable and reserved were you/ will you be?

Regardless of political ideologies, people should never cheer anyone's death. As a liberal I am ashamed of people who are happy about Brietbart's death.

sad, but liberals can't help themselves. they have "pent up" jealousy and anger. they have been diagnosed by legitimate psychiatrists as "mentally ill".

they are usually stupid and of course you know stupid can't be fixed. unfortunately they are, for the most part, unteachable and easily mislead because they don't know history and don't know how to reason.

when people like andrew brietbart pass on they are so relieved because they think he can't continue to expose the evil thoughts and antics of the liberals/progressives. what they don't realize is that there are many in the wings that will continue what he started.

lies must be exposed. truth will live forever.

I loved Brietbart. He was freaking awesome. Nothing any commie lib says will change that fact so let them get their violent shudders of ecstasy about his death It doesn't change who Andrew Breitbart was. Andrew would delight in the vicious comments. And if Michael Moore or Bill Maher or Lawrence O'Donnell or Chris Matthews or Rachel Maddow drops dead I will be twittering the same stuff to be honest.
