i tried to sign up but they sent me an email saying they had too many volunteers and that i couldnt do it. so what is it?
Volunteers needed? I was turned away. I am confused.
My wife inquired this past week about what was needed and received an email this morning saying nothing they actually were overwhelmed with help of all types. The only thing you can do now is be shuttled in and be a spectator. I know wallpapering and interior painting was done over the weekend so I would imagine by days end today they will be wrapping up doing the yard and finishing touches.
Wait a minute..this show helps people but makes a ton of money for the producers and tv company but they want me to volunteer. No thanks.
I went on Saturday and had a blast. It was really rewarding. Would love to go again but can't register on the web site anymore. Shoud we just show up or what?
Extreme Makeover needs skilled tradesmen, not people who want to sit around and BS, and are there so they can get on TV!
@ 11:45 well now they are asking for anyone who has time. And I am pretty sure that you do not have to be a skilled tradesman to help out. I have seen plenty of shows with average people helping. I take it you must not be a "skilled tradesman" hence why you are on your behind in front of this computer instead of helping.
They have been turning people down, but as of this morning there was a massive e mail sent out to request anyone who would like to help come to SU they will be sending a shuttle to the house every hour until 7 tonight.
There was nothing to do the first 3 days really for volunteers. Hollywood was taking way to long. There seemed like a lot to do right now.
I can stay home to serve food
