3 Amish Men Accused Of Cutting Others' Beards

Three Ohio Amish men remained in police custody Monday after allegedly assaulting other members of their local community in part by forcibly cutting off hair and beards -- a particularly egregious offense in Amish society.

Lester Mullet, 26, Johnny Mullet, 38, and Levi Miller, 53, were arrested last Friday, according to Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla.

Additional arrests are expected, Abdalla said.

*:33pm - Abdalla is his last name. Oh, I forgot rednecks only have names that don't end with a vowel. By the 2000 US Census 55.13% of those with this family name identified themselves as being white, 23.87% as black, 1.89% as Asian and Pacific Islander, 0.59% as American Indian and Native Alaskan, 16.14% as two or more races, and 2.38% as Hispanic ethnic origin. Climb out for the outhouse and get an education.
