I've noticed they have been using Usama now instead of Osama. I guess it sounds so close to OBAMA Bin Biden!!!!

some more of this administrations 'transparency'

What kind of sick puppy wants to see a picture of a dead guy? The administration can not afford to lie so fervently about the matter. What do you think the repercussions would be if it's found out OBL is still alive? Anyone who wants to see the pictures needs a brain scan.

DJ, I guess I'm one of those sick puppies. It was OK back in the 1960's to show blown up bodies on television from Vietnam but YOU wet pants liberals want to cfry like little babies too afraid to see an image of someone shot or dead. Turn the damn tv off or don't go to a website that has tyhe photo but for me, Obama better prove without a shadow of a doubt they Usama bin Laden is dead.

I watched an interview last night where a 60 minutes reporter asked his two different questions and each time he went to answer he looked to his right before he answered, showing he was lying.

Call me a sick puppy all day long. I'm man enough to handle a picture of a dead person.

Your proof will surface one day. It always does. It's not the government's job, however, to provide it as some sort of trophy to show off to anyone else. Nor are they in the business of sating someone's sick morbid perversions.

Like I said, common sense would suggest that this administration has more to lose by lying about this than they have to gain. I can take solace in the fact that those pictures (if they do exist) will leak eventually. I'd just prefer it to not be because the gov't wants to show it off like a prize pig at the county fair.

DJ, common sense would be to expose the evidence and stop this BS. We have witnessed far too many lies from our local and federal government. Make those Navy Seals proud and show the picture AND video.

DJ:

They showed our Soldiers being burned and drug in the streets.
They also showed our people jumping out the windows of the World Trade Center and hitting the ground like smashed tomatoes and they danced in the streets in thier towns.
"WE THE PEOPLE" want to see the picture and you and your left wing wackos cannot stop "THE PEOPLE"

You guys are idiots. Why would they release a photo knowing that you loons would only suddenly become forensic photography experts and call the photo a fake. I guess you idiots also don't believe that it would be stupid for the US to lie about killing Osama; the biggest P.R. coup Al Queda would have would be to prove the US lied. Please put down the crazy pills now

I would be happy if they showed the DNA evidence and picture to our highest ranking Republican Politician and have him publicly express that Usama is dead per the evidence he was shown. It would be nice if the military would give a public announcement as well.

"WE THE PEOPLE"

If you would like to sink to their level, by all means, do so. I personally hold the country to a higher standard than prancing around in the streets at someone's death.

Just like anon 8:35 said, releasing the photo will only divide the already polarized country even further. The fringe right wing will consider anyone who doesn't agree with them a "left wing wacko", which is funny because the only time it's been brought up is by righties (for the record I consider myself centrist, but whatever).

Point being, if he released a photo not only will it provide THEM with more propaganda, showing him as a martyr (which to them is the highest glory they could have), but it will divide the country even more than it already is. I don't think it's a good idea, and I'm not a liberal hippie as you both accuse me of being.

DJ has made very good points. There is absolutely NO NEED to release these photos. I guess many people will just have to get over thier morbid needs. This opinion comes from a very conservative citizen.

Don't worry folks........when it gets closer to election time he (Obama) will become the hero and show the pictures in hopes he will get re-elected. It may be his only hope! Also if it isn't true have no fear BinLaden will surface on TV again with a message.

DJ,
I discussed similar fair minded points on the "pixels don't lie" post. I was also called a liberal so and so. Some of these people are just not willing/able to exchange ideas.

I would like to see the photo. I would like to see the video. I would like them to get their stories straight.

There are about 4 different versions of the raid.

Maybe. I doubt it. The Obammy admin was so concerned about burial rites but can't put out an accurate press release?

You may be right. Either way, it seems someone is making it up as they go along.
