Shorebirds Pitcher Arrested Last Night For A DUI.
It has been reported that one of the Shorebirds pitchers was arrested at Brew River last night for driving under the influence of alcohol. We were told there was some kind of motor vehicle accident involved as well.
Lankford Sysco to lay off employees.
It has also been reported that Lankford Sysco will lay off some of its employees due to the economy.

It's Lankford, not Langford, and also the company no longer goes by Lankford Sysco it goes by Sysco Eastern Maryland now. Just an FYI.

Last night 15 warehouse loaders got laid off, a number of office workers, shuttle drivers and tonight the selectors will find out who is going to be laid off. Let put some more democrats in office and see if we can't close the place down for good!
