Virginia is near the top of the heap when it comes to the best places to earn a buck.
The commonwealth was ranked the fourth-best state in which to make a living, way ahead of Maryland, which was ranked 29th by Money-Rates.com, a financial information website.
States were ranked by their average income, state taxes, unemployment rates and cost of living.

Tell that to all the people on the eastern shore of V.A. I would be willing to bet the top earners all work in or around Washington D.C. Only the really dumb ones move to Maryland to pay more taxes.
Not if you are a nurse. ESVA has the lowest paying nursing jobs for the entire peninsula.
Maryland sucks and the people of the eastern shore are the ones getting screwed. We should be absorbed by Delaware or form our own state.
Maryland has the reputation of being one of the most "business unfriendly" states....Fact!
