WELL I DONT SEE WHERE THEY DID A GREAT JON BECAUSE WHEN YOU HAVE 10 PEOPLE INSIDE WITH TO SCBA MASK ON AND TO NOTE THAT THEY DOWN GRADED EVERY BODY THEN THEY STARTED PULLING LINES CAUSE THEY HAD FIRE MAKES NO SENSE. HOW DO YOU DOWN GRADE WITH FIRE AND HEAVY SMOKE. REAL GOOD JOB STATION 2
MAN!!! . . . . I can't believe any of you, what cowards you are. They need to find you out and eliminate you from the organization. It's your kind that's causing SFD to self destruct. What a shame that it's happening from within. I understand professional jealousy but a lot of you just because you don't want to perform, or operate, at a level worthy of being recognized want to destroy anyone that does. SAD!!!
job well done to station 2 for getting a quick knock on the fire. also great job done by command. the incident went smoothly

You are wrong in thinking that Mr. hill posted the above. It was in fact I that posted it. You took a harmless post that was meant to give praise to a job well done by all that worked together today to keep someones home from being a total loss and turned into an attack on someone. If your going to call someone out, don't do it Anonymously. We are all suppose to be working together here.
Corey - Good Post, actually both post were GREAT. Sounds like you have an attitude that is the kind that is needed. Hopefully it's contagious and catches on. Hang in there and keep up the good work, don't let the few bad apples get to you - they're just jealous and too lazy to participate in the team effort it takes.
it would have been a good job, perhaps if there was someone other than danny hill in charge. you dont scale down other units unless you know for sure you have the "entire" fire knocked, when in fact it was far from that. i wont take either side since im not a volunteer and it would turn into me bashing them. however, next time double check your work and then by all means scale back the paid men.

Danny hill was riding as the officer on engine 2. captain Paige arrived very shortly after the engine and assumed command of the incident. so Danny actually wasn't in command of the incident after the upgrade
Danny Hill I don't know you or have I even ever heard of you but after reading these post be assured you are in line for a promotion, an award, or something good and positive.
HOW DO I KNOW?! Because that's how Salisbury Fire Department is, has been, and will continue to be until a Chief takes over that doesn't condone these actions. When you're rewarded for your accomplishments you become a marked man/woman with a TARGET ON YOUR BACK. Yes, on your back because they don't have nerve enough to face you - all they care about is tearing you down and discrediting you. JEALOUSY IS A TERRIBLE THING AND YOU'RE SURROUNDED BY IT.
Maybe the new Chief won't support these actions - time will tell. Good Luck. You sound like the type person SFD needs more of.
Has anybody noticed that Pocomoke had a house fire that was posted 1/2 hr prior to Salisbury's just below this thread and there haven't been any negative comments posted. Similar incidents .... very different reactions.
Anybody have any ideas about what the difference is? Just wondering.....

I want to share an observation:
