I don't agree with illegal immigration on any level, and I think we should seal our border and try to deport as many illegals as possible. I also think there is a way to improve the unemployment rate AND get people off the welfare rolls (or at least reduce the amount being paid out in welfare), however, it is common sense, so therefore will probably not make it on to any politician's radar.

I say put the ones that they are to good to do the work of illegals is to take them off unemployment, public assistance and other Government programs after 13 weeks. If they choose to not take a lower wage job or look for a job properly, then they are put to work for the companies that hire illegals and green cards. This way they will earn their Public assistance of any kind and the Government can give the Companies a tax break. They will also be required for urinalysis at any time If they get fired then they lose their Public assistance. Public assistance already pay their health, education, housing utilities, food, cigaretts, alchol, nice cars / suvs and what ever else they want so it would not cost the companies any extra but the training and get a tax break. That would be putting America back to work and driving illegals back to where they came from plus cutting the budget because we would not be supporting these extra addons we get from illegals. As for as anchor babies, only mother, father brother and sister allowed in for citizenship status. All others are illegals.

in fact, all of humanity is descended from africa. African man moved into asia, then some of us moved towards europe, and others moved towards western reaches of russia and some towards australia.
at the end of asian continent, ie at the Bering Strait, there was no sea as there is today, separating north america from asia. but there was a bridge (probably ice), so early humans could cross to the new lands, and continue to populate the lands of north and south americas.
You most probably are the descendant of the indigenous mexican people, what cedie meant was the people of Philippines being descended from Spanish colonialists. but such people are comparatively less n numbers as compared to the indigenous people of mexico.

Unless things have changed, which they may have, you couldn't buy cigs, alcohol or anything else with food stamps.

Even if you were, you want them to miss their rent payment, car payment or any other payment they may have?

Closing borders isnt the answer people should be able to visit and travel freely however if they plan to stay and work they should be naturalized and be able to read write and speak ENGLISH and also pay a larger tax percentage for a given amount of time. The people that hire the illegals and that get caught should face hefty fines or imprisonment plain and simple. Also people that provide housing to illegals should be subject to fines or imprisonment or be subject to forfeiture of the property.
