How so very sad..God bless the family who has had this terrible tragedy put upon them...
This is sad.
Just wondering why he went to the OCME in Baltimore for an autopsy instead of Delaware since the "homicide" happened in Delaware and the DSP Homicide Unit is investigating?
This is so sad. My condolences to the family. I'm praying for them. Hard to believe that a dumb stupid bunch of teenagers and young adults have forever taken away this man from his family. I hope that the police are able to catch the individual(s) who are responsible and bring them to justice. As far as I am concerned, the two groups that were fighting should be charged with this man's murder, not just the individual who fired the gun. They are just as responsible.
The person died in the state of Maryland so it becomes the jurisdiciton of the MDOCME to perform the cause of death investigation. The same thing happens to people that are in cardiac arrest in Demlar, DE or Laurel, DE and are transported to PRMC where they are pronounced dead.
The body goes to the ME office where ever the death happened. most likely DSP Homicide members will go to Baltimore for the exam
I also grieve for the family, but have one queston I haven't seen addressed yet. What is a 62 Y.O. from Hurlock doing around an under 21 club? Was he at a friends near by, come to pick up the 18 Y.O. granddaughter from a party, etc. Seemed odd to me and I haven't seen anyone ask the question.
apparently, 9:18 the 62 yr old was the father of the owner of the under 21 club and he also worked there as a bouncer.
Someone in an earlier post/earlier article said he worked there.
