Be A Friend And A Good Neighbor
Folks, with the heat soaring above 100 degrees, please look out for your neighbors pets. If you know of an animal outdoors right now, a bowl of nice cold water would do wonders for them while their owners are at work. Be A Friend.

We had rabbits years ago. When it got hot out we would take 2 liter bottles and fill them with water and freeze them. The rabbits would lay up against them to keep cool.
And please, don't forget any elderly neighbors. If you know you are getting ready to make a run to the grocery store, please ask them if they may need something that otherwise, with no transportation, they might have to do without. This is especially true for any neighbor who has their windows open. They may not be able to afford the electric and be suffering inside due to the excessive heat. I took a neighbor to get a prescription filled because they do not drive. Please look out for them.
I totally agree, I am missing my dog and noone seems to know where she is, and its very hot outside. Im worried about her. I know this is a different ad , but if anybody has seen or any info on a brindle colored, lab/pit mix that answers to Sasha with no collar, please leave me an email,(stephanievowens@gmail.com). I would really appreciate it. Been missing since Saturday nite, near the mva and old ocean city road area. There is an ad for her under the July 4th blogs. I really hate for her to be out in these extreme hot temps. If anybody has her please return her, there are flyers around the neighborhood with my phone number and pic. She is being missed. Thank you very much
I believe you are correct in that : A person should not have an animal if they keep it chained outside in this heat----Chaing is cruel period! Please look around---Report it to Animal Control------Follow up to see if the dog has been taken out of the situation.
