Jim Rutledge Wins Endorsement Of Baltimore County Reagan Republican Club

Rutledge Receives a Super Majority from Republican Party Membership

FOREST HILL, Maryland

U.S. Senate Candidate Jim Rutledge was the overwhelming favorite of Baltimore County Republicans in a straw poll conducted Thursday. Rutledge received a super majority of ballots cast to gain the endorsement. Baltimore County is considered a "Bell Weather" county for candidates seeking statewide office. Jim Rutledge said, "This group reflects the heart and soul of the Republican Party in Baltimore County, and I am proud to receive their endorsement."

The Rutledge for Senate Campaign believes this endorsement is another example of the support and momentum Jim Rutledge is garnering in his effort to reform Washington and return a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate. Rutledge stated, "The Baltimore County Republicans are well informed and very active and this result shows our campaign has mushroomed."

Jim Rutledge continues to fight to end the out of control spending of career politicians like Barbara Mikulski. The time has come for Marylanders to unite and help return the values of Ronald Reagan to Washington.

Joe-

Didn't you just post this "story" yesterday.

Anyway, saying that a club located in the sparsely-populated northern reaches of Baltimore County somehow represents the opinion of all of Baltimore County is quite and exaggeration.

I also think that Montgomery County might be surprised to learn the Baltimore County is a bell weather for statewide offices.

The way this voting is set up, a candidate can pack the ballot box with 1 votes on purpose to downplay a candidate... This is in no way indicative of how Baltimore County votes at all.

When a campaign uses this type of endorsement to play it up, you know they must be desperate.
