Newt: ‘We Will Repeal Virtually Every thing They Did’

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Thursday that he thinks Republicans will repeal “virtually everything” the Democrats have done in the 111th Congress.

Speaking to a crowd of about 300 in New Orleans before the start of the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Gingrich upped the rhetoric. He repeatedly called the Obama Administration a “secular-socialist machine” and said its moment is fleeting.

“The left has a very temporary moment in history when it has both Congress and the White House,” Gingrich said. “I think we will repeal virtually everything they did.”

Gingrich, who has spoken out in favor of repealing the healthcare bill, has since added that it’s not feasible until Republicans return to the White House in 2013.

Repeal has been a hot-button issue ever since the bill passed, with the GOP candidates and leaders debating how to proceed on the idea. Some Republicans worry about promising too much and not being able to deliver, and Gingrich has urged Republicans to be honest about how possible repeal actually is.

He is full of crap and he knows it, just making this statement for the headlines.
Go back to the 60's when the segregation laws were overturned and you will hear the see statements. Did not happen then, will not happen now. Nothing will be overturned.

10:20 Sure you are and you don't know how to spell democrat?

When proven Obama is not a Natural born US Citzen you won't have to repeal nothing because everything Obama signed will be null and void. His signature would be the same as a person in the mailroom signing your paycheck.

10:19 What does his divorce have to do with anything besides trying to change the subject . John Edwards / Bill Clinton .

10:19am what's your point?

Can they repeal the IRS while they're at it?

Newt is one of the most knowledgeable people in the country when it comes to the current issues .

Actually, it's easier simply to defund something than repeal law. All the American public gets for the first year is higher taxes, no healthcare.

actually they need to repeal alot more than just healthcare they need to go as far as most everything that was made law since 1990 excluding laws made for sex offenders should stay ... this country has gone to hell since then and has lost too many values due to being politically correct in fear of offending this or that person or group
