Is it just me,or did the WCSO exert alot of manpower over this holiday weekend dealing with domestic squabbles?.I empathize with the deputies,as most of the people involved will kiss and make up when the hangover wears off and refuse to press charges.

Its one of the most dangerous things they do.

What happened with the high speed chase that the WSD was involved in on the by-pass this past weekend? The idiot should have known better than to try to out-run the deputies! Weren't drugs involved?

I heard about that too. Joe, can you find out the scoop? Nothing was on the news and quite frankly, I was dissappointed that Sby. News didn't have anything posted. Inquiring minds want to know and you have never let me down yet, Joe!

they must be working harder since they are going to be paid less to do this dangerous job! Hope Pollit and all the people making these decisions sleep well at night with their full/uncut pay while these deputies continue to put their lives at risk!

maybe they should just work 3.5% less?

I just heard that Adrian L.Wilson escaped from the Wicomico County Detention Center Work Release Unit today while he was out with an Officer cleaning up county roads as part of a community service detail. Adrian Wilson simply ran off. Officers that take inmates out into the community are not armed, carry handcuffs and some do not even have pepper spray. The only thing that keeps inmates from escaping is the fact that they will be charged with escape and an arrest warrant put out. Something you might want to look into.

You were terribly misinformed about the Adrian Wilson incident. The officers should have use of those items when out with the inmates as long as their properly trained to use them. Thank God the truth was revealrd in this particular situation and the WCDC and all the hardworking guards there didnt pay for someone elses mistakes.
