40 & Over Softball to Begin in Wicomico County
Registration is Now Open for the 40 & Over Men’s Softball League

(Salisbury, MD) The Wicomico Department of Recreation, Parks & Tourism is starting a 40 & Over Men’s softball league this spring. The registration process has begun and the deadline for team registration is 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Any interested players ages 40 and above are invited to participate in this new program. Games will take place on Sunday afternoons/early evenings and possibly on weeknights, from June to August. This is an opportunity for older players to stay active and have a good time playing softball.

The cost of the program is $295 per team and a $20 player contract fee per player. The season will consist of 10 regular season games and playoffs. For more information contact Steve Miller at 410-548-4900 ext. 105 or email smiller@wicomicocounty.org.
