How Bill Gordy Gets New Fire Equipment
How quickly Bill Gordy forgets the comments made, especially by him during the budget session. Please, allow me to remind him and everyone else. Gary Comegys is going to support this without question, he is also not going to make any threats towards the volunteers pension fund. WHY??? Because Gary benefits from that retirement fund. Gary Comegys also voted to increase that same retirement fund. How is that for a conflict of interest? Hey...Ethics Commission, did you read that? It's on record.

That's how I remember it. No check, no retirement. That's not what Gordy said tonight.

Anything that deals with Gary Comagys and Bill Gordy is a conflict of interes. Bill Gordy was Bubba's Treasurer/Campaign manager for the past two elections and Gordo is pushing bubba to run for Mare.
Bubba needs a reaming by the ethics commission and Gordo needs to be thrown out of the fire department.
Has anyone ever seen Gordo drive that city car like a bat out of hell responding to calls. That F#%king Idiot is going to kill somebody one of these days. First of all that a$$hole doesn't need his own city car and doesn't need to be responding on calls.
Gordo is a liability to the city and the city needs to wash its hands of him.
Gordo is bad news for this town. He is an example of a rich guy who throws his weight around, to get what benefits him! He pretends to care about the firemen. People are waking up to his control, and he is becoming less popular every day.
Gordo is a POS. He was kicked out of Delmar and the Fire Department there because of his two faced ways. Get rid of him now.
His bully tactics didn't work on Debbie Campbell. I thought I'd die when she said "you still didn't answer my question" ahahaha Good for Debbie and Terry. Way to stick to your guns girls.

If you want the Ethics Commission to act, you -- someone, ANYone -- has to file a complaint. They don't just read the news or blogs and go after people.

Gordy and See came across last night as arrogant--same characteristic that Barrie and Gary have.
837 That's because they are arrogant. They also believe the city owes them and they should get anything they want. Including an $800,000 fire boat. It's in the capital plan already. As long as Comegys has the majority voting with him they will get anything they want and the taxpayers will get shit and shoved into it.
Everyone should hear those commnets made by Gordy. then we can all boycott his exxons. Forget about Kratovil, lets boycott because of his attitude towards the vollies. I say, If you like the vollies, stop shopping at exxon.
Where is the Fire Boat? It has not been at the Marina lately? Must be a big fire on the Chesapeake.
The fire boat has probably already been sold-or is somewhere being destroyed because the proposed 800000$ fire boat is probably already a done deal.

You jack ass county volunteers have a very similar pension system just Salisbury volunteers. LOSAP-Length of Service Awards Program! County firemen also have life insurance for helping the community. LOSAP was developed 20 years ago as a method to retain volunteers to help the community.

Keep responding to calls, making Gordy look good, all the while he is at a council meeting giving away your pension. How does it feel to be shit on by your leader? They are starting to treat you like the career people, they've been getting shit on for years. Now you all are truely "brothers"
Gordy is a very poor representative for the volunteers of Salisbury. He doesn't work for the volunteers and recommending to a bunch of clowns like the council and the Mayor is a perfect example of his mentality. First, the City charter states that the LOSAP will be funded annually, so he doesn't even know what the City Charter says. Bad move.
