It is 100% real. The chunk of grass was gotten by Dorothy Sexton who "jumped
the fence" and actually got close to the boys in the band. She wasn't sure but
her thought that Ringo or John walked on it.

Are you talking about 1977? I delivered the newspaper that day.
The ticket stub says it was for their concert on August 15, 1965 at Shea Stadium.
(today, 43 years ago in case you wanted the math done)
An excellent price for admission compared to today's costs for similar appearances.
By 1977, the members of the band had been on their separate ways for almost 8 years.
An interesting piece of history.
