Loading, Unloading, Fire Lane, Who Knows Any More?

While your parking rates just went up 33%, who's to tell where you can park any more in the City of Salisbury?

The curbs probably haven't been painted in 20+ years and even though your rates went up and the City didn't need the money, none of that money goes, (once again) back to the infrastructure of the maintenance and upkeep of the City.

Go anywhere you want Downtown and you'll See every curb in this condition. So the big question again is, WHERE'S ALL THE MONEY GOING BARRIE TILGHMAN?

Let me phrase this in a way I am very sure the Mayor and Council will understand...."I'll get back to you on that...."

Can no longer distinguish between no parking zone and regular zone.

No maintenance is being done at all.

What a pity for the taxpayers. All of that money paid for taxes and nothing to show for it.

It doesn't matter if zones are marked or not marked. People don't read and still park where they want. Check out Walmart, just to name one, and see all the cars sitting in the FIRE LANE - NO PARKING. Oh, they just wanted to run in for a minute and were gone for an hour? Even if I am just picking up one item or getting a prescription, I park in the parking lot where I'm supposed to park and walk into the store. Some people are just too lazy to walk a few steps. It would probably improve their health if they did exercise that option and walk two feet. I think the police need to start ticketing them like they did in Delmar Shopping Center. It stopped them there.

Is that a Salisbury Police car parked in a no parking zone?

Remember we don't have such money in the city's budget for paint, raises to the people who do work, vehicles that are older than Model T's...etc..etc...
