OCPD Investigators Arrest 8 People for Drugs and Recover Stolen Property
Stolen from Vehicles in Fenwick Island, Delaware
On Thursday, August 15, 2008, the Ocean City Police Department’s Narcotics Unit
executed two Search and Seizure Warrants at 108 – 63rd Street apartments 3E and 1.
These Search and Seizure warrants concluded a month long drug investigation. As a
result of the investigation, eight persons were arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Inside the residences, OCPD Detectives recovered
a quantity of Marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and a total of $902.00
U.S. Currency.
While searching the two units for drugs, OCPD Detectives also located property which
had previously been reported stolen from vehicles in Fenwick Island, Delaware. The
thefts of property occurred in late July, 2008.
The following subjects were placed under arrest for Possession of CDS from 108 – 63rd
Street, Apt # 3E: Javar D. Jackson, (22) years of age, and Diondra M. Bratten, (21)
years of age, both of Snow Hill, MD.
The following subjects were placed under arrest for Possession of CDS from 108 – 63rd
Street, Apt. # 1: Joanne M. Creasy, (37) years of age, Jody L. Paull, (22) years of age, Edward T. Johnson, (21) years of and two juveniles, all of Ocean City, Maryland. Also arrested from apartment #1was Brandon M. Hudson (20) years old of, Snow Hill, Maryland.
Creasy, Paull, Johnson, Jackson, Hudson and Bratten all appeared before a District
Court Commissioner and were all subsequently released on their own recognizance.
