I have been challenged to go out and take a random photograph of a Gordy Tiger Mart and since I was heading into town not too long ago, (within the past hour or so) I took these photos. The first was at Nanticoke Road, (ONE VEHICLE) and then over by the Shorebirds on Rt. 50, TWO VEHICLES.
I proceeded over to the Farm Show where I spoke with an elderly gentleman working the Republican Club Booth and he told me he was sick and tired of buying gas at any of Gordy's Stations because he asked the manager numerous times if he could put a Andy Harris Sign up to be fair. The Manager gave this gentleman Gordy's telephone number and he said he called him 5 times and has NEVER received a call back after leaving messages.
This gentleman stated that he buys at least $200.00 a month worth of gas and he'll be damned if he'll ever shop there again. So don't tell me that by posting the information about the Kratovil Signs and then lower gas prices that people are lining up at Gordy Marts to buy their gas. The are around 6 to 8 cents higher than MOST gas stations around the City of Salisbury.
Because of their higher prices, they're losing business, period. The pictures don't lie and believe me when I tell you, I'm NOT waiting around to take pictures of a Gordy Mart. It is what it is, DEAL WITH IT. Then put up Harris Signs or continue to lose business. That's their choice. The funny part to me is, Gordy doesn't believe this Blog is as powerful as it truly is. Very dumb move, very dumb decision.
By the way, Sam's Club is now $3.49 a gallon and Gordy is $3.59 a gallon.

Sorry to say I did go there occasionally, but I bet him lunch he would not post my comment, and he didn't. I don't expect to collect my debt, but, my point was made.

A few years back, TigerMart's gas was always cheaper than any in the area.

My sister-in-law works at Gordy's by the mall. she's told me how SLOW business has been. People come in and complain about the price of gas.
It has a LOT of bearing, 7:31. If businesses want to get involved with political issues, then they have to be prepared to deal with the consequences of doing so

Ever since I have been bilked out of sales tax on my Rock Star drinks I don't go there any more.
Moreover, using the County Fire Department car to do Gordy Tiger Mart business is just to much for me to stomach.

if there gas was cheaper i wouldn't care if he had a stalin sign on the property-and at 12:30 this afternoon the pumps were full of cars at connelly mill rd-but i have better things to do than take pictures and spew out hatred

I've been giving all my business to Shell or Wawa for about 2 months now. I used to ONLY buy from Gordy @ Centre or Delmar, but I don't see me going back.
I haven't gotten gas from Gordy since September 2005 when they were screwing customers. You might ask "How did they screw you?", well this is how they screwed us. At the Gordy Delmar in September 2005, they took their sweet time ordering new gas, and when they did they only ordered PREMIUM gas, the higher of all three grades. Then when the got the lower grade fuel in, they limited you to 5 gallons, but they allowed unlimited fuel on the expensive Premium. Ever since then Gordy can go screw

In my opinion what you’re doing to Gordy is totally wrong like him or not. There isn’t one thing wrong with posting gas prices however it looks to me you are attempting to hurt Gordys livelihood. Love or hate Gordy you don’t cross the line when it comes to a person’s income. I read your posts religiously everyday and appreciate what you do but I do not agree with your posts attempting to hurt Gordy.

What's up with that Eagle gas truck filling the tanks for Gordo? I thought that was an Exxon Station? Shouldn't the transport trucks be Exxon?
An Exxon station that sells aftermarket gas? Hmmmmm.... is that legal? False advertising.
Joe, it's 5:00 and I just rode by Gordy's on Route 50. I will be getting gas tomorrow because I didn't want to wait in line. Go see it for yourself and don't forget to take your camera.

What Joe is doing is making gas stations more competitive... you liberal moron.
Gordo has lost his business because he took it for granted. Just like he takes his friends at the fire house for granted. He thinks he can put up Kratovil signs and nothing will happen? He thinks he can strong arm the firemen and nothing will happen? Promote his son, and nothing? WTF? Who does this guy think he is?
