Dear Mayor Tilghman, Chief Webster, City Council, County Council & County Executive:
I ask with all sincerity, PLEASE take a few minutes out of your day and view this video. I also ask that ALL Citizens do the same so we can all remember where we came from, how we were raised, what we were taught and how things should be. Thank You for your consideration. Joe Albero

All heavyweights there, very moving piece of media even for a bunch of liberals huh? J/K There it is isn't it? Abolish city government? County executive wants more money for the budget. There it is without raising taxes and never having to hear the words duplicated services again. Abolish duplicated government by abolishing the city government of Salisbury, Maryland. It is our right as citizens, let's exercise our rights.
Bravo! That says it all and its held up for going on three centuries. Our Leaders way back there were brilliant men and our Declaration of Independence is a very moving document when read by such talented actors. And it stopped the British cold and allowed us to be truely a country of free men and women!

We need rid ourselves from attachment to the western shore.
The eastern shore needs its independence now.
It's definitely time to get back to the basics. It seems as though the examples of the tyranny written in the D.O.I. aren't that much different from what our federal govt. is carrying out now. This representative style of govt. has transformed into something that would have made our founding fathers sick. It's definitely time for reform.

I can only say BRAVO. At times I have not agreed with you on many subjects but I, among others, will fight for your right to express your opinion and the opinions of others because its not only our heritage but its our duty as AMERICAN CITIZENS. I pray that the Somerset County commissioners, county administrator, Princess Anne town commissioners and town manager view this site and contemplate many of their recent decisions and reconsider their actions that impact many citizens. THANKS JOE FOR REMINDING US OF THE BASICS!
Excellent piece. Been written that way for 2 hundred plus years. Why does it take Joe Albero to open our eyes? Didn't we learn this in school? (I did) Isn't this why we are a free nation today? Too bad it takes this bunch of liberal hypocrites to send the message, but , if that is what it takes to get you people to open your eyes and ears, so be it.

It should be played every morning and every night and on every TV and radio station just to remind people where we came from and what we stand for.
We take so much for granted!!!
Knowing that I'll be blasted as a result of this comment, I point out that this magnificant document does not address the problems that beset out local government in Salisbury and Wicomico County.
And those who should be called to action are the citizens who allow certain vested interests (the landlords, etc.) to install "leaders" such as Barrie Tilghman, Gary Comegys and Louise Smith. The root cause of our situation is internal, not external. After all, we elected that lot.

We want to secede from the city of Salisbarrie, and especially from the historic district.
