SPD Press Release

On April 8, 2008 at approximately 11:42 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the six hundred block of Baker St. for the report of a home invasion type robbery. Upon arrival, Officers were advised by the victim that minutes prior, two (2) suspects had forced their way into his residence and had take U.S. currency from the victim at gunpoint. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspects and approximately 45 minutes later, the below listed suspect was located in the area of the robbery and was identified by the victim as one of the suspects. The investigation is continuing as to the second suspect.

ARRESTED: Michael Andrew Dixon, 19 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
First degree assault
Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment
Robbery with a dangerous and deadly weapon
Robbery
Unlawful detention
Theft (under $500)
Possession a handgun with the intent to rob
Wearing and carrying a handgun on person
Breaking and entering a dwelling
B & E of a dwelling to commit a crime of violence
B & E of a dwelling to commit robbery

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800012183
