Black Tie Optional, tonight the March Of Dimes kicks off their Festival Of Trees at the Fountains. If you'd like to attend, (FOR A VERY GOOD CAUSE) it could be the best $100.00 you'll spend all year!
This single event, (get this) raises more than $120,000.00 a year and the sales for tickets this year have been fantastic. The event kicks off at 6:30 PM tonight for a preview party auction. There is what they call a After Glow Party from 10:00 to 12:00 PM. If you're interested in attending you can contact them at 410-546-2241.
Now for the general public, they will be open Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is a minimal fee to get in.
The photos above are just a preview, (you won't see in The Daily Times) of more than 100 pre decorated trees available. I'm also told there are more than 100 items also available tonight at auction.
I was also told they will have heavy hor'dourves served this evening. IMO, there's not a better place to spend a hundred bucks all year. Go give it a shot and tell them Charlie sent you. LOL

Joe I was at the March Of Dimes festival Sat. Nite and sorry i missed you there,but it was packed which is a good thing,I went with several friends as we do every year. A firend and former classmate of mine was the chair of this event. Saw alot of friends there as well.As always this was a great event and put together well. I would like to see more people in this community support this fine event as it is worth wile every yrar. Reguards WAGONMASTER
