Resorts, Casinos Double Down on Maryland Gambling Expansion

New disclosures show millions of dollars are being spent on both sides in the fight over whether to expand gambling to Maryland, even as other issues on the ballot may be flying a bit under the radar.

Disclosures filed with the Maryland Board of Elections Friday show Penn National Gaming has now contributed   $18.1 million to the "Get the Facts" campaign against Maryland's Question 7, the gambling expansion referendum that would allow a new casino in Prince George's County and allow table games in the state.

MGM Resorts has contributed   $11.4 million to "FOR Maryland Jobs and Schools," the group supporting the ballot question, according to disclosure form filed with the board of elections.

'EXODUS NOW': BLACK BISHOP LAUNCHES BRUTAL ATTACK AGAINST DEMOCRATIC PARTY

You can't imagine how many videos I get sent to me. I make a point of watching some of all of them, but I couldn't stop watching this one:  http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/09/27/Black-Bishop-Rips-Dem-Party

Note that Bishop Jackson is not endorsing Mitt Romney or the Republican Party and never once mentions Barack Obama. His testimony is merely an indictment of the Democrat Party, not from a racial or partisan perspective, but from a Christian one.
Honestly, I would love to hear anyone attempt to argue against the points the Bishop makes about Planned Parenthood, same sex marriage, and most especially the Democratic Party's attacks against God, up to and including the booing of God last month at the Democratic convention in Charlotte (something the Bishop mentions in the video).
Bishop Jackson has turned his beliefs into a moment called S.T.A.N.D. -- which stands for Staying True to America's Destiny. Here's the website.
From the looks of it, he's just getting started.

Islamic Infiltration

On Friday, March 30, 2012, Hisham Y. Altalib visited the White House. According to visitor logs, Altalib was received by Joshua DuBois, the director of President Obama's Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Four days later, White House officials welcomed a foreign delegation of the radical Sharia-enforcing Muslim Brotherhood from Egypt.

The White House meeting with overseas Muslim Brotherhood leaders was reported in April by a few mainstream journalists and questioned loudly by conservative media. But the White House confab in March with U.S.-based Altalib — which appears to be a prep session with the global Muslim Brotherhood's American advance team — has received no attention until now.

So, who is Hisham Yahya Altalib? What is his agenda?

The Clinton-Rice Credibility Gap

Two weeks after Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were murdered in Benghazi, Libya, the Obama administration has conceded it was an act of terrorism.

The attack on the U.S. Consulate, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton now admits, was part of a broader effort by al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb, working "with other violent extremists to undermine the democratic transitions under way in North Africa, as we tragically saw in Benghazi."

Yet 10 days ago, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice was trotted out on every Sunday talk show to blame the massacre on a mob inflamed by the Internet video "Innocence of Muslims," which insulted the Prophet Muhammad.

LIMBAUGH: OBAMA BLOCKING FBI FROM LIBYA CRIME SCENE

Two weeks after Islamists murdered U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, FBI agents still have not been granted access to the U.S. consulate in Libya to investigate the crime scene. And conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh believes the Obama administration does not want the FBI on the scene to find facts about the attack that would hurt the president.

Limbaugh suggested on his Friday radio show the FBI was not in Libya because they would “find out what happened.”
“The FBI will not lie about what they find, so the regime has got to keep them out of there,” Limbaugh said. “If you have the FBI conducting an investigation and telling everybody officially what we know, that's not good for the regime.”

All Your Private Data Are Belong To Obama

When it comes to spying, eavesdropping on its citizens as well as the complete invasion of American privacy, the first thing that comes to mind is the Patriot ACT and Dubya. And with good reason: because while the rest of the world may "hate us for our freedoms", they certainly love us for the fact that the NSA usually can autocomplete sentences before they are written in any electronic medium (recall: NSA Whistleblower Speaks Live: "The Government Is Lying To You [7]"). However, as it turns out that the first thing that should be coming to mind is none other than the current administration and Barack Obama. Here are the facts: as the ACLU reveals [8]using documents released by the Justice Department following months of litigation, "federal law enforcement agencies are increasingly monitoring Americans’ electronic communications, and doing so without warrants, sufficient oversight, or meaningful accountability." How "increasingly"? Look at the chart below and decide.

FLORIDA IS #1

States with the Most Federal Funding
By Daniel Bukszpan | CNBC
Total federal spending for fiscal year 2011 is estimated to be $3.6 trillion, according to the Office of Management and Budget’s 2012 Mid-Session Review. Much of this amount was allocated to the states, with the most populous receiving the largest payouts.
The state that received the most in one lump sum was Florida. With 19.1 million residents, the state is the fourth-most populous in the nation. California, on the other hand, has 37.7 million residents, more than any other in the country, yet it received only the third-highest amount of federal dollars that year. Why is this?
States receive given amounts of federal funding for several reasons. Some of it pays for the operation of government agencies, some of it is distributed to contractors and some goes to entitlement programs, among other things.
Using data from USASpending.gov, an OMB website, CNBC.com presents the 10 states that received the most federal dollars per capita in fiscal year 2011. Five of the states are red states, three are blue and two are battlegrounds. Read ahead to see what they are.

Obama Cabinet Flunks Disclosure Test With 19 In 20 Ignoring Law

On his first full day in office, President Barack Obama ordered federal officials to “usher in a new era of open government” and “act promptly” to make information public.
As Obama nears the end of his term, his administration hasn’t met those goals, failing to follow the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act, according to an analysis of open-government requests filed by Bloomberg News.

Death Of Democracy Propagated On Purpose

Another chapter in the slow death of politics ... The public has lost faith in Left and Right – and it's hard to see how it can be recovered ... Apathy rules: the late Philip Gould compared politicians to footballers playing in an empty stadium because the spectators have lost interest and gone home. – UK Telegraph

Dominant Social Theme: Politics are the lifeblood of nationhood.

Free-Market Analysis: Another startling article in the UK Telegraph, this one from columnist Sue Cameron.

There's no dominant social theme we can determine directly from this brutal assessment of regulatory
democracy. Are the larger powers behind the British Empire contemplating a new kind of government? Is
this article idiosyncratic or is it part of a larger meme?

We are well aware that the target of the powers-that-be continues to be world government – as best we
can tell, anyway. Cameron's article doesn't advance world government or any government and may be
sparked by a new book that she mentions in the article, Philip Gould – An Unfinished Life.

Unique Creative Resumes

We write a lot about resumes — what to do, what not to do.
But these rules are generic advice we compile from career experts, and — depending on the industry — sometimes the more personalized and creative you are, the more likely you'll get noticed in this competitive economy.
Taking a risk on the design and format of your resume can sometimes lead to unexpected results. Chris Spurlock posted his resume on the internet, and its viral success got him a job at the Huffington Post.
"We couldn’t resist hiring him after seeing his amazing infographic resume,” Huffington's Arianna Huffington reported to Poynter in a press release.
Here are a few more creative resumes we couldn't help but share.

Teen Girls In Videotaped Beating Of Woman Are Remorseless, Detective Says

Four teenage girls caught on videotape laughingly beating a defenseless woman are remorseless and defiant even as they are about to be arraigned on criminal charges in a Philadelphia court, police said today.
The girls videotaped the beating and posted it on Facebook. Someone who saw the video called the cops.
Four of the six teens involved have been arrested and they are aged 16 and 17, according to the Chester Police Department. Authorities are searching for the other two girls.
The cell phone video shows five girls standing on the street Tuesday night, playing around for the camera before the assault began.
