Trump tells governors they're 'weak' and demands they 'dominate' riots

Donald Trump told governors during a video conference from the Situation Room on Monday that they are 'weak' and need to 'dominate' cities ravaged by riots or they will look like 'jerks.'

'You have to dominate, if you don't dominate you're wasting your time. They're going to run over you, you're going to look like a bunch of jerks. You have to dominate,' audio of the call revealed.

'The only time it's successful is when you're weak and most of you are weak,' he added, CNN reported, claiming that if governors and local leaders were more tough on rioters, there would be less destruction of their major cities.

'You've got to arrest people, you have to track people, you have to put them in jail for 10 years and you'll never see this stuff again,' Trump said during the 55-minute call. 'We're doing it in Washington, D.C. We're going to do something that people haven't seen before.'

cuomo just came out against diblasio and the NYPD. This is the beginning of democrats turning against democrats publicly. There are going to be many democrat voters who finally wise up and vote GOP. They are like addicts. They have to hit rock bottom before they turn their lives around and start voting intelligently.

When your children and grandchildren learn about this is history class (assuming they can read) they will wonder why grandpa was on the wrong side of history just as the offspring of the reich wonder why. This is only the start.

We have government to provide for the Common Good. That means we respect someone's right to a viewpoint different than ours, but it doesn't compel us to adopt their view or to surrender our right to a competing or differing view.

Getting a permit for an assembly permits that expression of a view with minimal or no infringement on the rights or presence of others who just want to go about their routine.

Blocking streets, freeways, or the interstates fall outside of your protected rights since they are now intruding upon mine.

So the first duty of cities, counties, states, and the Feds is to provide safety for all citizens within the bounds of the Constitution, and if there must be a temporary restriction it must protect the majority before carving out an exception for a smaller group to exercise some aspect of their rights that the majority oppose or are indifferent to.

Keep conditions safe for all, which also protects protestors, or nobody will have safety or any rights other than those they carve out from others.

1:06. Funny. Most democrats are hoping that Republicans will wake up and see the light. November 3 will be here soon enough.

Democrat mayors, councils and governors have tools at their command to minimize the damage and upheaval, but haven't put many into practice.
