At approximately 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, a group of five suspects broke into American Sportsman, located in the 2600 block of Capitol Trail. They stole 35 firearms, including both handguns and long guns, as well as firearm accessories like magazines.
The suspects are described as black males in their early 20s-early 30s, all with slim builds except for one heavy-set suspect who also has a thick beard. One of the slim suspects wears glasses. Photos are attached to this release with images of the suspects.
"Recovering these firearms as quickly as possible before any additional crimes are committed is a top priority,” said ATF Baltimore Special Agent in Charge Timothy Jones. “We will continue to work closely with our partners in the Delaware State Police and ask anyone in the community who may know something to please come forward.”

ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total reward of up to $5,000. This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers.

Northwest Woodsman: Black males! Imagine that! Who would have guessed? Let’s be honest folks, blacks undeniably commit probably around 90% of all the violent crime, including crimes committed with guns. Again, let’s be honest and forget the PC party line that we are all the same under the skin. Undeniably, evolution and the development of genes based on geographic origin play a significant role in behaviors of certain groups. There are a myriad of issues that preclude assimilation into a culture that is foreign from ones own. Mixing these dissimilar cultures will never work due to the unavoidable forces of human nature. Lincoln said it best when he stated that we can not live under the same government. That statement still holds true almost 160 years later. This social engineering experiment has been an utter failure in every respect. Many things have been tried and all result in abject failure. Isn’t it time that we admit failure and try an approach that is guaranteed to work? Separation is the only viable answer. Both groups would be much happier and there would be the elimination of all the hate and resentment we now experience by being forced into an association that we all recognize as being incompatible. How many more years must we waste on this failed experiment?
