Virginia’s reported coronavirus cases jump by nearly 900 in a day — highest yet

There are now 15,846 coronavirus cases in Virginia and another 30 deaths were reported overnight, bringing the statewide tally to 552, according to statistics released this morning by the Virginia Department of Health.

The number of cases, which includes people who have tested positive and those who are symptomatic with a known exposure to a coronavirus case, increased by 885, the biggest one-day jump yet.

Gov. Ralph Northam has said that before Virginia starts to ease restrictions put in place to limit the spread of the virus, there would need to be two weeks of declines in the number of hospitalizations of COVID-19 patients, along with a steady drop in the percentage of coronavirus tests each day that come back positive. So far this week, the number of reported cases has eclipsed previous daily highs twice and the number of deaths continue to hover around 30 a day.

There is enough open sandy beach in OC to start a large cemetery with the dead from this virus that they get by coming there.
Just think this summer the kids can come and visit grandma and grandpa's graves and also build sand castles.
You can buy a Tee Shirt that says "Ocean City Maryland, new home of Corona 19".
