Coronavirus outbreak infects 66 at Carroll County nursing home, Maryland governor says

An outbreak of the coronavirus has infected 66 residents of the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Carroll County and left 11 of them hospitalized, Gov. Larry Hogan announced Saturday night.

The residents had been awaiting test results after two women in their 50s who live at the nursing home contracted the virus.

In a statement Saturday night, Hogan called the outbreak tragic.

“Multiple state agencies are on the scene and working closely with the local health department and the facility as they take urgent steps to protect additional residents and staff who may have been exposed,” Hogan said.

90% of the people in the country contracting the virus are in nursing homes hopefully someone’s investigating that.

How these people got infected is from a grandkid that went on spring break to Florida and then came back to visit. Idiot didn't care who she was going to kill, had to Party on the beach.
