Washington Free Beacon founding editor Matthew Continetti on Friday said that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is opening the door for Michael Bloomberg if other establishment candidates fail to defeat Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) in early primary states.
On Friday, the DNC eased requirements to qualify for future debates, despite a crowded primary field. Continetti said the gambit shows that the party is looking to the billionaire as Plan B if former vice president Joe Biden continues to struggle.
"If Bernie wins Iowa, he’s already very well positioned in New Hampshire. That will set the Democrat party on fire," Continetti said during Fox News’s Special Report. "And that’s why I think you’ve had this rule change to allow Mike Bloomberg into the debates. This is their insurance policy if the Biden campaign collapses."

Young voters do not want Biden. He is another shining example of corporate America putting businesses in front of the people. Another mouthpiece for the 1%. People who are fiscally conservative but don't want to vote for Trump will vote Biden. I believe Bloomberg will fall between those who think Bernie is too radical and Biden is too old and senile.

I like him because he is not rich or a 1 percent. He doesn’t live in multiple homes or have security. He just an every day guy.
Gotta hand it to Bernie, he's the only candidate recently that stays consistent. Everybody else changes their tune depending on who funds their campaign
Why don't people vote for the person who will look out for them - jobs, economy - not someone with promises until they are elected.

It's hard to know anything about the dem's caucus since the app failed and they have nothing to report. (That may have changed by now, I don't know.) I have read Pete claimed he won, despite no reporting.
I have read Biden lost, but he wasn't dead last. Two others faired worse than him.
I also have read Bernie won.
It will be interesting to me to see which scenario proves true, or an entirely new one.
