Chipotle fined $1.3 million for thousands of child labor violations

Massachusetts officials fined Chipotle Mexican Grill $1.3 million for more than 13,000 alleged child labor violations at its restaurants there.

The fast-casual burrito chain kept dozens of teens on the clock later than the law allowed and let minors work more than the legal limit of 48 hours in a week, the Massachusetts attorney general’s office said.

Bay State officials also slapped Chipotle with citations for breaking earned sick time law, failing to pay wages on time and records violations, officials said. The case involved more than 50 corporate-owned Chipotle eateries, according to officials.

Good job! Damn those kids for wanting to make some extra money and skirting a few nonsensical Liberal laws to do that.
My advice to them: Go back to your neighborhood and sell some drugs. Great money, and no Child Labor Laws to get in your way.
(By the way, read the court document, most of the "kids" were 14 and fifteen years old, an older age than I was when I delivered newspapers in Baltimore seven days a week.)
Meanwhile, while this heinous crime was being investigated, hundreds of kids are being shot on the streets of America. The administration should get their priorities straight, I think.

Hey, Chipotle was one of Hillary's and Huma's favorite places. Maybe she can get Chelsea a paying job there.

That is just crazy!
It can only be characterized as incompetence.
People should be fired and I'm guessing the Board will demand that heads roll.
It is inexcusable.

I was 8 and working like a dog and that's been 60 years ago.by the time I was 12 I was planting dynamite in the Tangier Sound because the Army Corp of Engineers couldn't come up with enough money to dredge.I rammed the dynamite in the mud up to my shoulder and then swam back to shore, walked app 100yds from ground zero and hid behind a truck while the cluster of 12 was detonated.Once a stump landed square on our truck hood following discharge. These kids today don't have a clue.

Chipotle needs to find leadership somewhere different, choosing some real losers to run company.
