they been doing this to the bay bridge since 1985
Another example of to many people allowed on the Eastern Shore. There should be a lottery with a maximum number allowed to cross the BB a day or even tags on even number days and odd number tags on odd days. This excludes business trucks. They do it at Assateague. Politians only look at the money and not common sense measures for safety of the Public.

It's easy to make comments like above. But there are people like myself and friends who get treatment for cancer, and other illnesses that frankly they have no idea what to do here at this Hospital. We need to get to Baltimore. It's a matter of life and death for alot of people. Hogan made a huge mistake doing this. It's needs a resolution.
Open the bridge back up till a better way is found. People are going to die in these backups.
It's costing people that need to go to Baltimore a fortune.
They should leave OC earlier if they don’t want to be stuck in traffic.
What about construction just during the evening and just monday thru Thursday night
How about going around the Bay if it's that important to get to Baltimore?
The lane would remain closed no matter. You can't set up and take down everyday on something like this.
If they leave earlier they will get to the bridge earlier, but won’t it still take just as long?

7:58, can you just leave earlier? This is not a surprise, you need to adjust your schedule accordingly.
maybe they should just ignore the maintenance until the span falls into the bay? some of you folks are idiots! waive the fee for those needing medical, commuters, trucks, etc, for the rest raise the toll $100 see how badly they want to come to oc? that's what this is about!
2 years? gonna be a fun ride!
You can go up through Delaware and down through Cecil Co. yes it is about 45-60 minutes longer but at least you will know how long it is going to be instead of guess at the bridge
The Bay Bridge is not the only way to get over there.....
Should have taken a plane. Probably cheaper than the time and expense of driving a car.

They are not working on the OC crowd's side of the bridge. They are working on the side that the Eastern shore uses to get over there. Duh. Don't you read well?
