But Maryland’s flapping, black creatures may be less prevalent this year, like years in the recent past.
From cold-loving fungus to high-powered wind turbines, Maryland’s bats are getting annihilated.

That's really reaching. A bat can turn in a split second, and uses radar to "see." There's no way a wind turbine can hit them. Still trying to find any reason, true or false, to be against this clean energy source (because some think they're "ugly"). Give it a rest.
