Political Memes

You know how people get all bent when they see the media they don't agree with sort of using the facts, but in a way that sort of skews the truth? That's why so many call CNN fake news, right?

So... the ideologies of the political parties during the civil war, (this references the Abraham Lincoln meme in this post)... their ideologies were almost flip flopped. Democrats the that time looked more like today's Republicans, and vice-a-versa. This incorrect meme is then used as a cheeky way to shame the opposition.

Those who don't know better get a good laugh, but folks who know history are left scratching their heads at how this is OK, but CNN fake news is not.

1013, have you not been paying attention? Did you not see the Russian collusion narrative they drummed for 2 and a half years evaporate like a snap from Thanos? Jussie Smollet? Michael Brown? Nick Sandmann? All fake news! You need to open your eyes. You have no idea what racism is. Republicans want minorities to be prosperous and not dependent on the government or others. Democrats want the exact opposite. It is precisely that dependence from which they derive their power.

lol no whats irony is the same folks who want confederate statues and revere the confederacy selectively want to hold up Lincoln as their hero. You can't have it both ways folks.

1142, that's only ironic is you work under the assumption that the confederate flag is about slavery. Spoiler alert: it's not.

1205 sell that story to the folks who would have remained in chains had the soldiers marching under that flag took down the Union.
